How kratom can help with Corona Virus?
How kratom can help with Corona Virus? – As you are aware the deadly Corona Virus (COVID-19) is currently working its way thought the world and the United States is no exception.
Our team at Kratomleaf.us would like to help those that might be effected by the Corona Virus. So we figured we would share some knowledge to other American kratom growers and our customers. When the natives are sick with a cold and have a sore throat they will go out in the fields and pick some Fresh Kratom Leaf off of the trees. Placing some sugar in the center and then chew on the leaf. When they chew the leaf the sugar mixes with the Fresh Kratom Leaf and becomes sort of like a tasty paste. This paste will retain its sweet taste all the way through. This helps relieve sore your throat and makes the day much more bearable. Below we have written a guide to show you how.
Step 1: Pick your Fresh Kratom Leaf off of your tree. Any leaf will do but we recommend using larger leaves as they are easier to work with.
Step 2: Add sugar to the center of your Kratom Leaf
Step 3: Roll up your Fresh Kratom Leaf and enjoy!

Kratom for Chronic Pain? -Wholefoods magazine
Kratom is not legally marketed in the U.S. as a drug or dietary supplement, according to the FDA. But people still use it. Fibromyalgia experts discuss Kratom as a pain relief option used under a healthcare provider’s guidance.
Lower Risk than Opiods
by Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D.
With one third of Americans suffering with chronic pain, approximately 50,000 preventable U.S. deaths each year from arthritis medications (e.g. NSAIDs like ibuprofen), and 5,000 yearly deaths from prescribed narcotics used as directed, we clearly have a major problem in how we treat chronic pain.
Having effectively treated thousands of people with fibromyalgia and other forms of severe chronic pain, and published a number of studies and textbook chapters on this, one simple fact has become very clear: Virtually all pain can be effectively treated, by using the entire healthcare toolkit. This includes both natural and prescription options, as well as socially controversial natural treatments such as marijuana, hemp oil, and kratom.
For example, numerous studies show that using natural options such as a special mix called Curamin, and even a mix of glucosamine plus chondroitin, is as or more effective than arthritis medications. And could save over 50,000 lives a year.
If not for a deadly quirk in our government’s regulatory system.
Basically, it costs anywhere from $100 million to $2.6 billion to put a single treatment through the FDA regulatory system. As nobody can pay this for non-patentable treatments, the enormous body of research using safe natural and low-cost generic medications cannot be effectively discussed or publicized.
Natural remedies, and Kratom is no exception, are not without risk. They simply carry much lower risks than medications. Although in my experience it has been uncommon if the dose is properly regulated, some people will develop cravings or even tolerance to this herbal. So I do not begin with this. Still, I have seen people who failed dozens of other herbals and medications, including narcotics, and had dramatic relief with Kratom.
As a physician, one learns to do a risk/benefit analysis. This includes looking at the validity of the data being used. As of 2017, the FDA reported 44 deaths worldwide associated with Kratom. But it is important to understand what the words “associated with” mean: simply that if they found any evidence of Kratom in the bloodstream when somebody died, even if they had a massive narcotic overdose and a gallon of tequila in them, this death is then “associated with” Kratom (1).
This faulty approach would claim that millions of deaths are associated with the use of milk, coffee or even toilet paper.
The bottom line? Kratom can be a very helpful tool in the healthcare toolkit when used with a health practitioner’s guidance; Kratom is far safer than ibuprofen and codeine; and Kratom should be reserved for when other natural treatment options have failed. To make it illegal will trigger far more suffering and deaths than it would prevent.
Still Too Risky
by Ginevra Liptan, M.D.
Kratom has significant medicinal potential for both pain management and easing opioid withdrawal, but most health care professionals do not recommend it due to safety concerns. Regardless of medical advice, consumers are using it—over 2 million Americans take kratom every year. While kratom is currently sold over the counter, its legal status is murky. Sales of kratom have been banned in six U.S. states, and in 2016 the DEA attempted to make it a Schedule I drug, but backed off after a public outcry.
I’ve found a surprising number of my patients are trying kratom without informing any of their doctors. Several of my patients report significant pain reduction with kratom, with some using it to successfully wean themselves off prescription opioids. Health care providers need to understand the pharmacology of this plant so they can discuss the risks and benefits with their patients.
Kratom has well documented medicinal actions, but its pharmacology is complex. The effects of kratom on the body are dosage dependent, lower doses give stimulant effects and larger doses provide analgesic and sedative effects. Kratom contains at least 40 different known phytochemicals with actions on multiple brain receptors. Its main active ingredients bind primarily to opioid receptors.
The biggest benefit of kratom is that while it has analgesic effects comparable to morphine, it causes less constipation, respiratory depression, and tolerance compared to opioids. However chronic use is not without risk and has been associated with drug dependency and development of opioid withdrawal symptoms. Rare side effects of kratom include psychosis, hypertension and liver failure. Although kratom has less respiratory suppression effects compared to opioids, it still can be deadly when mixed with other compounds. There are case reports of overdose deaths due to mixtures of kratom with over-the-counter cold medications, sleep medications, or benzodiazepines. However in total, kratom appears to be a much safer option than opioids.
Currently the biggest safety issue around kratom is the lack of supplement consistency and quality control as it is not being produced by any large or reputable supplement companies. There have been concerning reports of products adulterated with medications, or contaminated by bacteria, as occurred in a multistate Salmonella outbreak.
Kratom does have exciting therapeutic potential as a pain treatment, but for it to be really useful medically we need more information about safe dosing and interactions with other medications and access to high quality, standardized products.
Customer Fresh American Kratom Review
Customer Fresh American Kratom Review – Jcole20: User Thank you. I ordered 30 fresh leaves and am very happy with what came in the mail. A few extra were thrown in either accidentally or to make up for some smaller ones in the batch but regardless more than happy. As someone who eats / makes tea with approximately 5-10g per dose approximately 4-5 leaves chewed the traditional way (vein removed and tucked in cheek) has been enough to equal this. Taste is a lot better fresh too. This is what to expect as far as size.
I will give it a shot in the am. I’m well aware of the science behind it and the inhibition of the enzyme (cyp2d6) that breaks mytrag down, that same enzyme is used to break down a lot of different medications and it’s why so many different medicines warn against drinking gpfj prior to taking but I’ve never done it because I used to doubt it’s efficacy and gpfj isn’t the greatest thing (taste Wise) to me but I’ll definitely try it soon.
How much gpfj do you recommend? Honestly I’m not a fan of gpfj but I’ll try it and let you know. I do think I tried it once years back but didn’t put enough time between the medication and the gpfj. Regardless I’ll try it in the morning prior to my morning routine. Btw I’d guess my dose of leaves on average day will be approximately 10-15 leaves.
This is just a guess because today was not very average given I’m conserving because it got here so late. 2 definitely stops withdrawals which says a lot to me and 4 seems to be a decent dose for me as I’ve eaten 7 and don’t feel any different than I did with 4.
Customer Fresh American Kratom Review
I really feel like I hit a ceiling with kratom where more is not helping. I’ll definitely let you know about the gpfj. Idk if that is just me or if it’s because of my tolerance to opioids but regardless I wish someone had told me about that wall earlier because it’s generally atypical with opioids. For me it’s a good thing because in my head it seems so much simpler to taper from 4 leaves 3x daily than 10 capsules-12 capsules 3x daily. Maybe that’s just me but all around I much prefer the fresh kratom to dried.
I think potency is close but drinking that much powdered kratom gets old and constantly doing the teas do too for me. I find it odd the little caveats with kratom where switching strain for some reduces tolerance. This is something I noticed myself accidentally. Didn’t consider it I just went for what had the highest 7-hm in lab tests not even considering other non isolated alkaloids. I really don’t know as much science behind kratom as I normally would with something like this because I know there’s more to it than just the known alkaloids.
Either by way of how they act or another non isolated alkaloid because kratom stops withdrawals where other stronger opioids do not. So for me I know something else is at play either due to a lack of understanding or other non isolated or not as well talked about alkaloids. I could be wrong and imagined all of it but I really don’t think so. I know myself well and when I took kratom I really didn’t have any faith in it working. It showed me.
At the end of the day kratom does what I want it to and it’s been nothing but beneficial for me. Outside of the fact I don’t have a tree in my backyard I think it’s a wonderful plant and you all are doing an awesome job providing fresh kratom in the us market. I’ll message you and do the review I’ve been jumping between texts and this app.
Trying Grape Fruit Juice
so I tried the gpfj and didn’t notice much of a difference tbh. I drank maybe 24oz an hour before taking 4 leaves then 3 more 45 minutes later. I’ve been reading about it and coincidentally kratom alone inhibits many of the enzymes that break mytrag and the other alkaloids down. Meaning kratom potentiates itself. In theory redosing say 2g every hour should be stronger than taking approx 18.5g at once over a 12hr period. This is taking into account the half life of kratoms alkaloids.
I’m also reading where people say the active alkaloids aren’t water soluble they’re fat soluble so (a big misconception is that insoluble means that it is totally insoluble and none is absorbed which is not true. Insoluble really means it is poorly soluble usually requiring more time and water+heat or/and an acid to bring it out) in theory adding butter (I know how that sounds) or anything high in fat should greatly increase the absorption.
I think adding an acid and melted butter prior to making tea (let it sit for 30 minutes) and then making tea normally should help to bring the alkaloids out. More is better here with the fat but drinking butter tea doesn’t sound good. I don’t think gpfj is useless but unlike with most opioids the effects will not be as pronounced in theory. It may increase duration sightly but I don’t think it will greatly impact effects overall. I also think making tea with a material as fine as possible is best as that allows more surface area to be impacted.
Customer Fresh American Kratom Review.
I’m going to give the above a shot and I’ll let you know. I tried a tea with whole leaves and was shocked at how light the color was. Totally different than shredded material. Definitely grind your leaves finely for the most material to be absorbed. Also given the poor water solubility of the alkaloids more water is better and in theory the longer the better as long as you can control heat. I’ve tried looking for people who take leaves and soak them for a day vs the 20-30 min tea times. I’d imagine with agitation the soak would pull more alkaloids out.
But that’s all just guessing. This whole post is really just theory but it’s sound theory if anyone has experience with any of the above please let me know. Good luck and hopefully kratom brownies don’t become a thing. I really don’t think those would be pleasant. Customer Fresh American Kratom Review
Approximately 5g equivalent dried kratom and gpfj @1225 added butter at 1230 1tbsp real butter
Looks horrible not gonna lie.
Added 1 3/4 cups of water at 1240 and placed on low heat
just pulled it off I let it simmer lightly for the full 20 minutes and it’s cooling now. Only difference in prep is that it’s harder to cool with the butter. I don’t really know how much a full boil effects it so I’m doing my best to keep it at a simmer. It’ll be another 30 minutes before I try it I’m thinking. Will post more pics here shortly.
After simmer removed at 1310 (30 min – 20 min simmer)

Kratom Tea Recipes
Kratom Tea Recipes – A good kratom tea recipe can dramatically help reduce and mask kratom bitterness, however, there aren’t many helpful resources online for this purpose, even on popular kratom websites and forums. Because of this, we have compiled a few recipes that can help reduce bitterness and add flavor.
Kratom Tea Recipes – The most effective kratom tea recipe we have used is a chai blend. Because chai naturally contains a variety of potent herbs, such as cardammon and star anise, the bitter flavor of kratom is highly masked, and with a little bit of tinkering, can actually be enjoyable to drink.
While it’s possible to create this drink from scratch, we have found that the most convenient method is to purchase either chai tea packets or a chai mix. In this method, it’s necessary to create a normal glass of strained tea from kratom powder, and simmer it down to about 1/4 to 1/2 a cup. At this point, if one is using a tea mix, pour the mix to fill the rest of the cup. If using tea bags, add the chai on top of the kratom tea and add milk, cream and sugar (or honey) to taste.
Kratom Tea Recipes – Anyone who has gone to some of the more popular coffee chains has noticed the pump flavorings available for a variety of drinks. Interestingly, these flavorings can be a highly effective means of reducing bitterness. These flavors range from fruity to chocolate/caramel, and almost all of them can help mask bitterness and improve the taste of kratom tea. These flavorings are available both at most of these chain coffee shops, as well as online for a discounted price.
Additionally, waiting until the tea has cooled before pumping these flavorings seems to have a positive effect on the kratom tea taste overall.
With these tips and recipes, we hope that you have learned not only how to make kratom tea, but also increase potency and improve taste.

How to enjoy Fresh Raw Kratom Leaf
Kratom Leaf Vein Colors
Kratom Tea Recipes – The color of a kratom vein are determined by the content of mitragynine (alkaloids) in the vein. The purpose of producing mitragyna is to protect the tree from insects and animals from eating the leaf. It’s also a stress mechanism. The mitragyna is why the leaf is so bitter and correlates to strength. Strength also correlates to how mature the leaf is. The more mature the leaf the stronger it will be. When mature leaves mature the alkaloids are sucked back into the tree through the veins. These leaves will look more yellow. The Kratom Bible is also available here on the #kratomAPP
The more alkaloids in the vein. The more red the vein will be. Purple at the high end of alkaloids. White at the low end of alkaloids. It is possible to see all vein colors grow at the same time on the same tree. (pink, red, purple) more near the bottom as that is where they have roots as that’s where most of the nutrients are. Up the tree will be more (greens and whites). They start getting more color variation the larger they get.
In winter you see mostly white and green with some red. Spring, mostly green, white, some red, with pink starting to show up. In summer, Seed pod are poping up, you see green, white, pink, red, purple. This continues to happens thru Fall. We should note seed pods are best to pick off the tree in Jan – April. Kratom Vein colors usually have its darkest vein color at the exterior of the plant. Getting lighter as you go inward. But is harder to see in summer – fall as all colors are on the tree.

The following is a guide to help users discover their favorite way to enjoy kratom:
“Toss and wash” is basically just spooning the powder into your mouth and washing it down with a liquid.
This is the most “difficult” method but likely gives the strongest effects. The powder is incredibly dry and will stick to your mouth and throat, causing many to gag or cough “blow” the dry powder out of their mouth. If using this method of consumption, it is best to spoon small amounts at a time.

Kratom can give you an incredible invigorating boost in the morning that lasts, providing natural, non-jittery energy all day long. Add 7 grams of kratom powder to 1 cup of dry oats. (Instant oatmeal works just as well)
Heat water, milk, or soymilk until it is hot, but not quite boiling.
Stir liquid into oatmeal and let sit for 3 minutes.
Add a generous amount of honey, brown sugar, or stevia.
Stir and enjoy! If the oatmeal tastes too gritty, add an additional splash of cream or coconut milk (optional).
Which Kratom Variety Is Best For Cooking?

5-7 grams of powdered Kratom

Kratom Yogurt – Kratom Recpies
Kratom Yogurt – Kratom Recpies Yogurt: Here’s another great way to truly enjoy the experience of kratom, especially if you are on the go. The powder mixes well with milk products like yogurt – the powder should blend fairly effortlessly and disappear right into the yogurt. Purchase a regular plastic cup of fruit-flavored yogurt from the grocery store and stir 5 grams of kratom in with a spoon. You can eat it on the spot or pack it in your bag for later.
Applesauce: Sometimes the easiest recipes are the simplest ones. Mixing kratom with the flavor of apple has been used in recipes to sweeten the taste since long before it was introduced in the Western world. The simplest way to make it completely palatable and easy to eat is by stirring the powder directly into applesauce.
1 cup applesauce
Tablespoon of cinnamon
5 grams of kratom powder
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. For a really refreshing twist, stash the bowl in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before eating to give it a really invigorating chill. Don’t forget about it in there, though, or you’ll end up with a giant kratom popsicle!
